hitting a milestone: got my (enhanced) driver's license today!!! feels awesome to have completed every necessary (or seemingly unnecessary!) step to finally get it. just praying I don't get in an accident or anything now. I'm totally nervous, but very inspired by the quote:

YAY!!!!!! Good for you, girl!! I got my license on my birthday--almost 2 months ago! I was scared to drive by myself at first, but after a few little expeditions, I was much more confident and not so scared anymore. I think what I was most scared about is that I really wasn't good at street names/knowing where I was going, so I always took Toby with me so he could operate the GPS on my phone. Now I am much better with street names and only use the phone in emergency situations. :) Just take a deep breath and relax--its just like the driving test--seems horrible, but once you're in it you're just fine. Congratulations!!!!

DeleteCongratulations, Madi! I haven't gotten my permit yet even, I'm waiting. I was hoping to get it this summer, but I don't know if that will happen or not. Amanda needs to get her license first, and I'll go in at the same time to get my permit. :D I'm so happy for you! Great job.

DeleteCongratulations, Madison!!! So exciting. :D Having a driver's license is the best... having freedom and all that. ;) And it's soooo nice to just be able to drive yourself places. I've had mine since... May... and since then I've gotten much more comfortable driving by myself. So, don't worry at all. It's a wee bit scary at first, but the excitement mostly drowns it out. :D
